Last night, two hedgehogs came into the diner together… the first time this season. First in was ‘Squint’… so-called because he has one much smaller eye. As he was taking a drink, he hears a noise and you will see his spines rise in defence. A smaller hog walks boldly in and straight up to the bowl and proceeds to munch away, not perturbed by the presence of Squint at all!
Later, poor Squint pushed out of the bowl and is left waiting in the background… eventually he gives up only to come back later in the night, when the Diner was empty again!
