I have spent this weekend moving the cameras around so that the nest boxes can be monitored again. There is certainly evidence of pairing and the blue tits, in particular are looking in all of the nest boxes. I was delighted to see that the new Wildlife Whisperer nest box attracted a pair of blue tits straight away…
I also caught blue tits checking out the HandyKam box in the plum tree….
I have also had blue tits popping into the oak tree nest box and a great tit roosting in the side box, so things are looking promising! I will be monitoring these boxes using i-catcher over the coming months, so watch this space!
