I can't quite believe that is is the end of 2024! I have now been here for 15 months and my first full calendar year, here at Gwyllt Hollow, is complete. I embarked on a massive adventure this time last year. I have spent 90% of my time here on site and tried to absorb, note and revel in everything this plot has to offer. Watching it evolve through the seasons, for the first time, has been a joy.
I have been busy! Over the last year, I have worked hard to get the camera infrastructure in, to allow me to share my wonderful wildlife via my website and YouTube channel. I have installed nest boxes, feeding stations and love filming all the amazing wildlife here. From blue tits to badgers, foxes to polecats, it has been so much more than I could have hoped for!
It's been a busy year of projects and it was only when I went to write down all the projects I have done, did I realise how much has been achieved in a year! I couldn't have done it without all the wonderful friends who have visited over 2024, getting their hands dirty and getting involved helping with all my crazy ideas and projects... thank you to all of you! T
This is not a comprehensive list.... more the bigger and memorable jobs..... lots of others, like endless mowing, clearing, tidying and generally revelling in this wonderful place!

As I have always told my kids, ‘Life is not a rehearsal!’ Make every moment count and live for the moment. Do the things that make you happy, surround yourself in the people and the pastimes that make your heart sing. Immerse yourself in the wild world and let nature soak into your very being…..
I feel so privileged to have reached this place. I know that not everyone is welcoming a new year with such joy as I have found here. I, too, have been through some very difficult times… perhaps your lowest moments in life really make you truly appreciative of the highs xxxx
