With the sun shining today and my female Blackcap still spending a lot of time at the feeders, I took my camera up to the Hub, hoping to get some shots of her. Unfortunately, the sun was in the wrong position, lighting up the bank behind , with the table in shadow. I did manage a couple of shots of her and some of the other visitors that were making the most of the food on offer.
She is such a pretty little thing, with beautiful, delicate markings and an intricate row of tiny white markings around her eye. She seem to be enjoying the sunflower hearts, fat pellets and occasionally the apple that I cut up for her… I hope she hangs around!
Of course, I could not help photographing some of the many blue tits that visit… and goldfinches!
