Foxes almost in daylight!

Writer's picture: WildlifeKateWildlifeKate

Fern & Flynn appeared at about 8.20pm tonight and the light was just fading. I had set my camera up to try and photograph or film them. Although the light was fading, I had to up the ISO to 1600 and it was still too slow for a decent shutter speed. I did manage to do a bit of filming, but really difficult. I am very new to filming with my 7D, so I need to practice. With them being quite predicatable in their visits, I plan to try and set myself up outside tomorrow, rather than trying to film out of an upstairs window!

Here is a link to my first attempt at filming…. at least I can only get better! Rather dark…. but if they keep coming at the same time, then it will gradually get lighter and lighter at 8.30pm!
