Essential Water for Wildlife…..

Writer's picture: WildlifeKateWildlifeKate

With this incredibly hot and dry spell, I have water out in lots of places for the wildlife of my garden. My pond, the tyre water holes and other dishes all around , give wildlife the chance to drink and bathe. On Friday, I received this new bird bath from CJ Wildlife. It looks like it is stone, but it’s very light and made from plastic.

It was perfect to use with the Bushnell NatureView trail camera, so I set it up with the 60cm close-up lens; perfect distance for this sized bird bath.

I didn’t have to wait long… I have had so many visitors to this little watering hole and have captured some lovely video clips and lifted some stills from them as well. Below is a selection of these and the others from my bird baths can be found in a YouTube Album HERE.

Next, I am going to try some closer views to see if I can capture some bathing with the 46cm lens on the Bushnell.
